About the Project

Arvento is one of the leading telematics and IoT technology providers in the region, offering a wide portfolio of solutions for numerous industries. Our goal in this project was to transform Arvento’s highly technical and content-heavy structure into a clear, modern, and trustworthy digital experience that serves both corporate clients and individual users.

My Role

I led the entire end-to-end user experience & interface design process. I redefined the user journeys, simplified the information architecture, rebuilt the UI/UX structure for both desktop and mobile, created a scalable component library, and rewrote key content for clarity. My aim was to represent Arvento’s innovative IoT solutions through a modern, reliable, and user-focused interface.

Problem Statement

Key challenges identified for Arvento:

  1. The website contained an overwhelming amount of content, making it difficult for users to find relevant solutions.

  2. The platform needed a scalable and future-proof design system, as new solutions were frequently added.

  3. Sector-specific pages were not effectively communicating the story or the value proposition.

Research

We examined user behavior across IoT purchase journeys, content accessibility patterns, navigation habits, and corporate decision-making needs.

Detailed Findings

  • Excess content makes it harder for users to identify the right solution.

  • Fleet size and vehicle type are the most important variables for selecting IoT packages.

  • Corporate decision makers favor short and structured summaries.

  • Visual storytelling improves comprehension even in highly technical industries.

  • A modular design system is essential for rapidly evolving product ecosystems.

Solution Approach

A redesigned structure focusing on clarity, sustainability, modularity, and guided decision-making.

Detailed Solutions

  • Introduced the Solution Advisor – a step-by-step tool recommending packages based on fleet size and vehicle type.

  • Implemented a bento-grid modular design system to support ongoing content expansion.

  • Redesigned sector pages using scroll-based storytelling with moving vehicles on a road illustration to increase engagement.

  • Rewrote content into shorter, digestible, and user-friendly blocks.

  • Optimized all modules for mobile-first browsing.

My Design Principles

My design principles centered on clarity, accessibility, modular sustainability, strong visual storytelling, and a modern UI that reinforces trust. The goal was to make a highly technical ecosystem feel intuitive and easy to navigate for all user groups.

Overwhelming Content Structure

Arvento’s wide solution ecosystem made it difficult for users to find the right package. Many pages needed to be scanned before reaching relevant information.

Solution:
We built the Solution Advisor, a guided flow that recommends packages based on the user’s fleet size and vehicle type. This created a personalized and friction-free experience, especially for mobile users.

Lack of a Sustainable and Scalable Design System

New solutions and features were constantly added, making the old layout difficult to maintain and visually inconsistent.

Solution:
We introduced a bento-grid modular design system that allows new content to be added easily without breaking the structure. This ensured long-term sustainability and visual consistency.New solutions and features were constantly added, making the old layout difficult to maintain and visually inconsistent.

Sector Pages Were Not Telling the Story Effectively

Sector pages lacked impact and clarity, causing users to lose interest or miss key information.

Solution:
We designed a scroll-based motion experience with a road-themed background and sector-specific vehicles that move as the user scrolls. Short, sharp explanations accompany each solution, making the content memorable and impactful.

This project highlighted the importance of modular UI systems and narrative-driven design in technical industries. Future steps include testing the Solution Advisor for conversion performance and introducing more advanced personalization logic.

The redesigned website significantly improved user navigation, content clarity, and overall brand perception. The Solution Advisor enabled personalized discovery, the modular bento system created long-term sustainability, and the scroll-based storytelling elevated the emotional impact of sector-specific solutions.
