The Dakik project, which I joined as an intern, was developed as a user-friendly health app allowing patients to manage their medications, measurements, and doctor communication all in one place.
During this period, I contributed by writing basic Flutter code and supporting UI implementation. My interest in UI/UX began here—thanks to the encouragement and guidance of the team I worked with.
Project Summary
Dakik was designed as a mobile application where users could track their health history, chat privately with their doctors, and receive reminders for medications and measurements.
The app enables users to view INR trends through charts, stay in contact with doctors via secure messaging, and maintain daily medical routines with smart notifications.
I contributed to the prototyping phase, supported UI layout construction, and started experimenting with basic Flutter code. This hands-on experience gave me my first real exposure to applied design and mobile product thinking.
Challenges and Solutions
The main challenge was to present sensitive health data in a clean, trustworthy format. To meet this, screens were designed to balance information density with clear action prompts for the user.
I had my first opportunity to directly interact with Flutter screens and make minor UI adjustments. I also observed how feedback loops shaped user flows and gained insight into how design decisions directly influence user behavior.
This experience was a turning point—it helped me understand the logic behind design and sparked my long-term interest in UX and UI design.
